There are two versions of the T.O.V.A.®:
The Clinical T.O.V.A. is for licensed clinicians (e.g., physicians, psychologists, psychiatrists, nurse clinicians, licensed clinical social workers, etc.)

T.O.V.A. 8: $695.00 plus Shipping ($34.95 for Domestic U.S.). The T.O.V.A. 8 kit includes:
- Visual and Auditory T.O.V.A. tests
- T.O.V.A. USB Hardware
- Professional, Clinical, and User's Manual
- Installation CD and USB drive
- 5 free test credits
Additional test credits: $15.00 ea. (Domestic U.S.) or $10.00 ea. (International). These can be purchased over the internet through the T.O.V.A.'s built-in Credits interface.
System Requirements for the T.O.V.A. 8
General System Requirements
- A computer that has:
- An x86 or x86-64 processor running at 1 GHz or better
- 512 MB or more of memory
- 100 MB or more of hard drive space
- One free USB port (on the computer, not via an external USB hub)
- A display that:
- has a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels or better
- is > 10 inches (measured diagonally)
Operating System Requirements
- Windows XP (32-bit, SP2 or better), Windows Vista (all versions), Windows 7 (all versions)
- Mac OS X 10.6.2 or newer
- Linux 2.6.13 or newer with a sensibly configured X window system installation and Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 installed. Linux installations are only partially supported, please inquire for more information.
External Audio/Video ("EAV") Setup Requirements
EAV setups allow the user to administer the T.O.V.A. without rebooting.
- Requires an external monitor and speakers, as on a desktop computer
- Requires a VGA port
Precision Test Environment ("PTE") Setup
The PTE setup allows administering the T.O.V.A. test on a computer without an external monitor, such as a laptop. This requires rebooting the computer into the T.O.V.A. 8 PTE.
- Graphics card must support 1024 x 768 x 16-bit video mode.
- Apple computers require a CD drive and the included T.O.V.A. boot CD to enter the PTE.
