Cost

The T.O.V.A. Advanced Workshop is $100.00. Groups (of three or more people) and students receive a discounted cost of $50.00.

Registration

Please mail or fax your workshop registration form to us. Although there is no formal registration cutoff time for the workshops, we need to receive your registration at least a week before the workshop in order to reserve the necessary space and your meal.

8:30-10:00 Overview of Attention Deficit Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

Overview of ADD and ADHD, DSM IV diagnostic criteria, diagnostic procedures for children and adults (including classroom behavior ratings and self-ratings); and treatment interventions, including counseling, medication, and school/workplace consultation. 10:00-10:15 Overview of Continuous Performance Tests (CPTs)

History, description, controversies, characteristics, and comparison of CPTs. 10:15-11:00 Break. 11:00-12:00 The Structure, Administration, and Scoring of the T.O.V.A.

The development of the T.O.V.A. and T.O.V.A.-A.; test constructs, structure, and norming; administration of the tests; scoring procedures. Clinical observations, interpretation rules, interpreting the and Home Intervention Reports. 12:00-1:00 Lunch provided. 1:00-3:00 Interpreting T.O.V.A.s in the Diagnosis and Therapy of Children and Adults.

Topics include presentation of teaching protocols illustrating diagnostic uses, establishing dosage and monitoring medication over time. 3:00-3:15 Break (snack provided). 3:15-4:45 Interpreting T.O.V.A.s in the Therapy of Children and Adults Continued 4:45-5:00 Evaluation.
