Part II: Beyond the Scores: Putting the T.O.V.A. in a Clinical Context
To be a sophisticated T.O.V.A. user, you need to be a sophisticated clinician! This portion of the workshop explores the use of the T.O.V.A. as an integrated part of diagnosis and case management. Beginning with a discussion of the strengths and weaknesses of the current DSM-IV (and likely future DSM-V) diagnostic criteria for ADHD, you’ll also get a review of commonly used diagnostic approaches (including collateral use of the T.O.V.A.) and treatment approaches. Learn more about monitoring response to medical intervention for ADHD with the T.O.V.A., and see how the T.O.V.A. can help to chart patient status in a range of disorders. Finally, get a jump-start in learning about the enhanced reporting and state-of-the-art hardware used in the upcoming T.O.V.A. Version 8.0 (a free software upgrade for all current T.O.V.A. users).
